Frequently Asked Questions

Answers about how payment, shipping, selling, trading in, and our affiliate program work at Hypemachinery. Can’t find what you’re looking for? Contact our team.

01.

Payment & Billing

We primarily accept direct bank transfers (ACH and wire), since most purchases involve larger amounts. The payment methods available to you are listed on your invoice and depend on the specific machine and transaction. They will always be shown before you complete your order.

Major credit and debit cards are also accepted for select purchases.

Hypemachinery works with multiple affiliated companies and bank accounts to process payments, and the entity that appears on your statement can depend on where your payment originates (including which U.S. state, or whether it’s an international payment), and the specific machine or transaction type. In some cases, particularly for consigned machines, payment may go directly to the machine’s owner, with Hypemachinery acting as the intermediary who arranged the sale.

This is a normal part of how we operate, not an error. If a billing descriptor or company name on your statement doesn’t look familiar, contact our team with your order number and we’ll confirm the transaction for you.

Yes. Card and bank payments are processed through PCI-compliant payment processors. Hypemachinery and its affiliated entities do not store your full card or bank account numbers on our own servers.

We don’t currently offer financing or installment payment plans. Full payment (or the agreed deposit and balance structure for custom orders) is required to confirm and ship your order.

For select high-value machines, we can arrange a deposit to hold the equipment with the balance due before shipment. This isn’t available for every listing, so contact our team before ordering to confirm whether deposit terms apply to the machine you’re interested in.

International buyers can typically pay by wire transfer or card, depending on the destination country and the machine. Because we use different companies and accounts depending on payment origin, our team will confirm the correct payment details and any applicable terms before you send funds. Card payments will be available for selected orderds.

02.

Shipping & Delivery

Shipping is calculated based on the machine’s weight and dimensions, crating requirements, and your delivery location. The exact shipping cost is shown before you complete checkout. See our full Shipping Rates & Policies page for details.

Standard freight delivery assumes dock or forklift access at the delivery address. If you don’t have either, select liftgate delivery at checkout, or contact us beforehand so we can arrange it. Liftgate and residential delivery carry an added fee.

Most domestic shipments arrive within 5–15 business days after your machine leaves our freight yard, depending on distance and carrier availability. You’ll receive tracking information once your shipment is picked up.

Inspect the crate and machine before signing the delivery receipt. If you notice damage, note it on the delivery paperwork, take photos immediately, and contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can file a freight claim on your behalf. Claims reported after that window may not be eligible.

Yes, on a quote basis. International shipments are priced individually based on destination, customs requirements, and freight method. Buyers are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs fees charged by the destination country. Contact us before ordering for an international freight quote.

In most cases, yes. Contact our team before placing your order if you’d like to arrange third-party freight or local pickup from our warehouse in Othello, Washington.

03.

Selling Your Machine

Submit your machine’s details through our Sell Your Machine form, including photos, condition, and your asking price. Our team reviews every submission before it goes live.

Most submissions are reviewed within 1–3 business days. If we need more photos or details to list your machine accurately, we’ll reach out directly.

Both. Depending on the machine, we may purchase it directly, or list it for sale on consignment, where we handle marketing and the sale on your behalf and you’re paid once it sells. Our team will recommend the best option when we review your submission.

Payment timing depends on the sale structure. For direct purchases, payment is issued once the sale is finalized. For consigned machines, payment is issued after the buyer’s payment clears, minus any agreed commission, and may come from Hypemachinery or be paid directly to you as the owner depending on how the transaction was structured.

We list machines in a range of conditions, from like-new to needing repair, as long as the condition is accurately disclosed. Clear photos and an honest description help your listing sell faster and avoid disputes later.

Submitting a listing is free. If we sell your machine on consignment, a commission is deducted from the final sale price, agreed with you before the listing goes live.

04.

Trade-In Program

Submit your current machine’s details through our Trade-In Program page. Once we assess its value, that amount is credited toward the new machine you’re purchasing from us. You pay the difference between the new machine’s price and your trade-in’s assessed value.

We assess trade-in value based on the machine’s age, condition, working order, and current market demand. You’ll receive an estimated value after submitting your machine’s details, which is confirmed once we review photos and any additional information.

Yes. After your trade-in value is confirmed and applied, you’ll need to pay the remaining balance (the price difference) before your new machine is prepared for shipment.

Once your trade-in is received and matches the condition described in your submission, ownership transfers to Hypemachinery and your credit is applied to your new machine purchase.

In some cases, yes, though non-working machines are typically valued lower than working equipment. Disclose the actual condition in your submission so we can give you an accurate trade-in estimate.

We don’t currently offer financing, so a trade-in reduces the amount you owe but the remaining balance is due in full before your new machine ships.

05.

Affiliate Program

Apply through our Become an Affiliate page. Once approved, you can refer buyers or sellers to Hypemachinery and earn a commission on qualifying transactions that result from your referral.

Shop owners, machinists, brokers, and anyone with an audience interested in CNC and industrial equipment are welcome to apply. We review each application individually.

Commissions are calculated once a referred transaction is completed and payment has cleared. Payout timing and method will be confirmed with you directly after your application is approved.

After approval, our team will provide you with a referral link or code to share, and you can check in with us directly for the status of your referrals while we continue building out self-serve tracking.

No, joining is free. There’s no cost to apply or to participate.

06.

Returns & Testing Period

Yes. We allow a testing period of up to 10 days from delivery so you can connect and run the machine before committing. If you plan to use this testing period, you must notify us when you begin testing; otherwise, the 10-day window is counted from the date of delivery.

Contact our team within your testing window to start a return. We’ll walk you through return shipping and next steps. Full details are available on our Refund & Returns Policy page.

No, we don’t charge a restocking fee on eligible returns.

Return shipping arrangements are confirmed with our team when you start a return, and will depend on the specific circumstances of your order.

If you don’t inform us before you begin testing, your 10-day testing period is counted from the date your machine was delivered, not from when you actually started using it. Let us know as soon as you begin testing to make sure you have the full window.

07.

Ordering & General

Some listings allow offers or quote requests. Where a price is shown as fixed, it reflects our current assessment of the machine’s market value and condition.

Warranty coverage, if any, varies by machine and is noted on the individual listing. Many used industrial machines are sold as-is, which is why we encourage using your testing period to confirm the machine works as expected.

In-person viewing may be possible depending on the machine and your location. Contact our team to ask about visiting our Othello, Washington warehouse.

Reach out through our Contact page and our team will get back to you directly.
